A collection of seasonal favourites in aid of the
Dublin 15 Hospice.
All of the proceeds of the sale of the CD will go to help the Dublin 15 Hospice Committee in this tremendous project.

About the CD
The hospice movement is dear to the hearts of many of the members of the folk choirs of the Navan Road and Porterstown, many of whom have been able to avail of the services of St. Francis Hospice Raheny and other hospice facilities.
The prospect of having such a wonderful facility in Dublin 15 has galvanised many people in the community who have committed enormous time and effort to the fulfilment of this ambition.
The obvious contribution which the choirs of the Navan Road and Porterstown could make was a musical one.
The material for the CD was chosen, arranged and rehearsed during September / October 2004. The final recording was conducted in Our Lady Help of Christians (Navan Road) on Hallowe’en to the accompaniment of that day's fireworks extravaganza. If you can’t hear the fireworks on the recording it is a tribute to the expertise of a terrific team of sound engineers.
Our musical director, Gavin Byrne, carried a tremendous responsibility throughout this process and everyone involved is very grateful to him for his musical expertise, his encouragement and endless patience. |
